Ceritanya gak panjaaang karena naik transportasi umum kkkk. Kalo bercerita soal jalan2 pake transportasi umum selalu banyak cerita :D.

Udah agak lama pengen naik gunung, traveling *lagi* tapi ngajakin temen2 pada gak bisa, mbulet acara masing2, ditambah musim kawinan banyak banget tiap minggu pasti ada org nikah, bagh nggak ada yg bisa diajak jalan. Akhirnya mutusin pergi berlibur sendiri. Ya emang gak pertama kali sih pergi sendiri, tapi pertama kali buat solo traveling di Indonesia wkwk.

So this time I' going to Dieng by my self. From my city to Dieng it takes 10hours by bus.

To reach Dieng, you can go by plane to Yogyakarta, and then continue by car +4hours.
If you go here by public transportation still lil bit difficult, remember public transportation in Indonesia is still complicated :S, but I still inform about using public transportation.

From Yogyakarta Airport, you can go to Giwangan Bus Terminal.
From Giwangan Bus Terminal take bus to Magelang, it takes +1hours.
From Magelang bus terminal, find a car going to Wonosobo city +2,5hours.
From Wonosobo bus terminal find a car/small bus going to Dieng +1hours.
That was not easy right?! haha

OK! and this is you must to do in Dieng.
First, looking for a home stay. In Dieng there's no hotel yet, just homestay and very traditional.
I need to pay Rp 75.000,- (USD 7.5) for 1 night.
OH! Dieng is coooold, so dont forget to pack your jacket if you wanna come here.

Take a walk around homestay arena, there is Arjuna Temple.You can catch the sunset here

And then sleep early because you need to go Mount Sikunirin the morning before sunrise.

You can go to Sikunir by motorcycle or walking.

Before you go to Mount Sikunir, you need to ask the local guide first. You can go there by motorcycle, of course include guide who will accompany. Not only in Sikunir Mountain, but in Telaga Warna and Sikidang Carter too. I pay Rp 200.000,- (USD 20) for this local tour with motorcycle.

Sikunir is popuar with Golden Sunrise, you can see the 5 mountains surrounding Central Java.

Another Mountain to go is Mount Prau. If Sikunir only takes +15min hiking, Prau +2,5hours. You have to climb the middle of the night to see the sunrise at Mount Prau.

So choose Sikunir this time, and will come back again soon to camping on Mount Prau :D.
